Dear Parents and Students,
We will be out of the office after June 19th but will be returning August 18th. We will start the year at our McKinley location but moving to Comstock for the first day of school on September 5th.
If you are interested in enrolling in Alternative/Virtual Education or Adult Education for the 2017-2018 school year, please use the pre-registration forms on the website. We will be reviewing pre-enrollment forms during our summer break. Returning students will be receiving a pre-registration paper in the mail during the month of August.
Adrian Community Education Center is composed of two programs for students. The Adult Education Program is for students who are at least 20 years old by September 1st, 2016. In this program a student may earn their high school diploma or prepare for the G.E.D test. However, McKinley Education Center is not a G.E.D testing center. To take the test you must go to GED.com to sign up. Please click on the Adult Education tab for more information and pre-registration.
Adrian Community Education Center Alternative High School program is for students who are ages 17-19 years of age. In addition students may enroll if they are under the age of 20 by September 1st, 2016. The program offers students the opportunity to participate at the LISD Tech Center, take virtual courses, and traditional courses. This program has limited space and slots are first awarded to students from Adrian Public Schools with permission from the Adrian High School Principal as well as the Adrian Community Education Center Principal. There will be limited School of Choice slots but please fill out the pre-registration and School of Choice form online.
