The technology compliments the Adrian Instructional Model which includes blended learning using Waterford and Successmaker trackers.  The tremendous academic progress is not solely the results of technology but the technology does serve as an instrumental tool to increase student engagement and create smarter assessment, quality of instruction and it creates better systems of accountability.

YMCA Little Maples Preschool at Lincoln Elementary School is a collaborative effort between the YMCA of Lenawee County, Adrian College and Adrian Public Schools offering an innovative preschool classroom designed by highly qualified professionals.  Your child will benefit from a low child to adult ratio.  The curriculum is based on ongoing research of children’s learning and development.  The teacher education department at Adrian College is partnering with the YMCA and APS to offer the first ever educational preschool class housed at Lincoln.  The preschool is a laboratory classroom for the education students at ADrian College.  This cooperative arrangement affords Adrian College students the opportunity to learn and work in an early childhood educational environment that engages in best practices derived from the most current research.  Adrian College students studying teacher education are conducting lessons at the preschool under the guidance of faculty from the College’s Teacher Education Department.  Financial assistance is available through the Family Independence Agency and the YMCA Scholarship Program.
