Adrian Board of Education Meeting Dates

Generally: 1st & 3rd Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Adrian High School Cafeteria 785 Riverside Ave. Throughout the school year, the board meets in each building on a rotating basis. Meeting locations will be announced on this site, in the Daily Telegram and on WLEN radio.

Formal Superintendent Performance Evaluation

2010-2011

I.Objective and Quantifiable Performance Measurements – 80% Weighting

A.Student Achievement (Standardized tests, other) – 20%

1.MEAP/MME/SAT/ACT/Other - APS scores measured against County, State, & prior year’s scores, 3 year trend data and AYP targets.

2.Graduation / Dropout Rate – APS scores measured against County, State, & prior 5-year average APS graduation rate.

B.Financial (Budget Management, Annual Audit) - 20%

3.Annual Audit – will be measured on quality of Audit results: unqualified, opinion, and material findings

4.Manage budget within board adoption in June of 2010. Will be measured by maintaining a minimum ending fund equity of $1,231,181 for the 2010-2011 school year.

5.Develop a strategy for financial sustainability to protect the losses while looking into future years and develop a sustainable cost structure. This will be measured by working within board parameters and targets for negotiations with employee groups.

C.Governance and Process – 40%

6.Vision/Mission/Beliefs Revised and Completed

7.Continue the implementation of Year 3 Strategic Plan Initiatives while developing a Scenario Plan using the Map of Future Forces

8.Continue Implementing Building School Improvement Plans (Monitored by dashboard)

9.Leadership aligned with the vision and mission of APS

II.Subjective (opinion) Internal Feedback – 10% Weighting

D.Administrator and Central Office questionnaire – 10%
